Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad is an established financial institution providing international trade and overseas project financing to promote SMEs to venture abroad and expand their exports of goods and services. In line with the rapid expansion programme in lending and insurance facilities, we seel dynamic and suitably qualified individuals for the following positions: SENIOR EXECUTIVE, LEGAL DEPARTMENT
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Legal Manager in providing legal advice and interpretation on all matters including vetting loan agreements and legal documentation i.e. letter of offer, loan documentation, drawdown and litigation;
- Counsel the management on the legal implications of all company activities;
- Ensure the legal services provided by the department are efficient and effective to fulfill the needs of the Bank’s customers and staff.
Requirements:
- Min degree in law (LL.B) from a reputable university and admitted to the malaysian bar.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in legal practice with basic knowledge of banking litigation and corporate documentation;
- Preferance would be given to the candidate with knowledge in companies Act 1965, Development financial Act 2002, Banking and Financial insitutions act 1989 and Rules of the High court 1980 and Subordinate Courts Rule 1980.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (oral & written);
- ABle to work independently.
