We are looking for Oracle Database Developers who will be a part of global team focusing on back office platforms automation and shared services implementation.
This is a permanent position (direct hiring) with a leading bank in Singapore. Overseas candidates are welcome to apply. Visa assistance will be provided
Mandatory Skills:
- At least 6 years of experience in application development in Oracle database and 3-4 years in Oracle 10g;
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in SQL and Data Analysis;
- Strong Database fundamentals and data modeling knowledge;
- Oracle Stored Procedures, PL/SQL and functions, Materialized views;
- Experience in Data warehouse development, Star and snow-flake schemas;
- Good understanding of OLAP concepts;
- Strong UNIX and Shell scripting;
- Experience using Erwin or ER Studio data modeling tools;
- Good understanding of ETL process, dimensions and hierarchy data;
- Good background working with quantitative data.
Plus Factor:
- Exposure to AbInitio or any other ETL tool will be a plus;
- Exposure to Business Objects;
- Exposure to SSAS.
Job Responsibilities:
- Extracting data from various sources;
- Initiating the discussion with DBA and DB engineering teams in resolving performance/environment configuration issues;
- Performing logical and physical data modeling;
- Developing and coding application using Oracle 10g and will be involved in data warehouse development;
- Writing stored procedure, creating tables and views.
