Manager (High Voltage Specialist)

Code: 24/12

Primary functions:

- Develop and contribute to project concept and basic engineering package in addition to the operation and maintenance for all plant modification, optimization and new projects for high voltage

- Operate electricity grid within Company sites within specification as specified by plant requirements and according to Malaysian by-laws

- Plan and carry out predictive and preventive maintenance works on electricity grid and equipment within Company sites to ensure smooth running of the electricity operation and distribution

- Coordinate projects, plant modification required for uninterrupted electricity supply and operation within Company sites

- Plan and coordinate smooth shutdown of electricity grid within Company sites

- Conduct regular electrical safety audits on all electrical equipment, circuitry and devices in electricity grid within Company sites

- Develop, revise and review electrical equipment standards and technical requirements for Company sites to be in compliance with BASF, PETRONAS and Malaysian by-laws

Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university

- Registered Competency with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and those with B4 competency will have an added advantage

- Minimum 8- 10 years’ experience in project/operation/maintenance in the petrochemicals or chemical industry

- Able to carry out operations and maintenance works on electricity grid, 33KV & 11 KV transformers, VCBs, main intake substation

- Able to supervise and lead chargemen and subordinates

- Able to plan and control all related works as required

- Able to work under intense pressure in a fast-paced environment and deliver within tight deadlines

- Good supervisory and analytical skills

Manager (Procurement)

Requirements:

- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Science or Engineering from a recognised university

- At least 6 years’ and above working experience in supply chain management/procurement/purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing/ petrochemicals/ chemical environment

- Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills with users and vendors in getting savings without compromising quality and safety of the technical requirements

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications while knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage

- Able to work under intense pressure in a fast-paced environment and deliver within tight deadlines

- Highly proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.

Manager (Water Specialist)

- Attention to detail and thorough in completing work tasks

- Analyse information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems

- Pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good natured, cooperative attitude

- Organise, supervise and carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance for water related package equipment and systems

- Lead the water specialist team in terms of safety, effectiveness and quality

- Report and flag General Manager, Operations Technical and to complexes of any abnormal findings

- Ensure optimised and cost effective approach to overcome water related issues

- Ensure optimum plant reliability

Requirements:

- Degree in Chemistry or equivalent from a recognised university

- Minimum 6 – 8 years’ experience in water treatment, BFW, steam and cooling water, preferably in the oil & gas industry

- Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo including use of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques and disposal methods

- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including HPLC, Gas GC, AAS equipment

- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

- Good supervisory and analytical skills

Manager (Project – Mechanical)

Primary functions:

- Develop project concept, basic engineering package (PRE-FEED & FEED) and project execution

- Carry out detailed engineering activities including performing process and mechanical calculations, generation of piping isometrics, P&ID’s and preparing technical specifications

- Prepare cost estimates and project schedule

- Plan, manage and execute plant modifications as well as capital investments (CAPEX) – Management of Change

- Communicate with vendors, clients and management in an effective manner

Requirements:

- Degree or Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university

- Minimum 6 years’ experience in project engineering related to chemical plant/ oil & gas for degree holders and minimum 10 years’ experience for diploma holders

- Experience working with medium and large projects will be an added advantage

- Able to work under intense pressure in a fast-paced environment and deliver within tight deadlines

- Good supervisory and analytical skills

Manager (Project – E&I)

Primary functions:

- Develop project concept, basic engineering package (PRE-FEED & FEED) and project execution

- Provide accurate E&I calculations, basic and detailed engineering including technical specifications for the design of E&I equipment

- Prepare cost estimates and project schedule

- Plan, manage and execute plant modifications as well as capital investments (CAPEX) – Management of Change

- Communicate with vendors, clients and management in an effective manner

Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Control Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university

- Minimum 6 years’ experience in related E&I Engineering field instruments, MCCs power, PLC/DOS system, etc.

- Experience working with medium and large projects will be an added advantage

- Able to work under intense pressure in a fast-paced environment and deliver within tight deadlines

- Good supervisory and analytical skills

Rotating Specialist

Code: 16/11

Primary functions:

- Organise, supervise and carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for rotating package equipment and systems

- Lead the rotating team in terms of safety and quality

- Assist Operation, Plant Workshop and Operation Technical Project Team on plant modification (MOC) related to rotating package equipment

- Monitor spare parts resources and personnel cost as per industry standards

- Ensure optimum plant reliability

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

- Minimum 8 – 10 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance activities, preferably in an oil & gas, chemical or petrochemical environment

- Experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and overhaul of major rotating equipment e.g. steam turbine, centrifugal gas compressor and reciprocating gas compressor

- Experience in project management, commissioning and start up in a chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas plants

- In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment design codes and specification, as well as local authority requirements

- Hands-on rotating skills in handling of turbine, turbo compressor and pumps

- Familiar and able 5 handle CM equipment, alignment and interpretation

- Graduate member of the Board of Engineers will be an added advantage
